Uncle Jim Caldwell and James McCandless stayed up here nearly all day. They meant to go to Cedar Grove but it rained so much they didn’t go. Uncle Jim went to their old place about dinner. He says if Walter Whidby don’t stay from there, he is going to have him arrested. It was clear at time for Herman to go home.
